AI Lab Instructor
Bring the Future of Technology to the Next Generation !
Maia Academy, part of the Fondation Maia Baudelaire, is launching an AI Lab to introduce children to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence. Our goal is to help young learners develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of AI through hands-on, interactive learning experiences. We believe that AI literacy is essential for the future, and we aim to make it accessible and engaging for students.
What we are looking for :
- Experience in AI, programming, or related fields.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
- Ability to make complex concepts engaging and accessible.
Your mission :
- Deliver engaging and interactive AI lessons based on our structured syllabus.
- Use games, storytelling, and hands-on projects to simplify AI concepts.
- Guide students in team-based problem-solving activities.
- Assess students’ progress and adjust lessons accordingly.
- Collaborate with the school and Fondation Maïa Baudelaire to improve the curriculum.
Requirements :
- Degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience teaching children (preferably in STEM or technology fields).
- Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple and engaging way Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Creative, patient, and excellent at engaging young learners.
Bonus points if you have :
- Hands-on experience with AI projects or coding for kids.
- Knowledge of child psychology or innovative teaching methods.
- Familiarity with Nepali culture or language (not required)
Duration : 3 to 6 months.
